On June the 4th you will have the chance to vote on how Staffordshire County Council is run. In the Kidsgrove and Talke areas we have to elect two councillors to represent the views and interests in local people.

To give you an idea of what SCC is responsible for and how they are currently performing consider the state of the highways and the ever increasing pot holes or on a more positive side education standards in the county are said to be "improving".

So at these elections you need to vote for 2 people from the following list;

Kidsgrove and Talke division (2 seats available):

* Christian Barber - The Conservative Party Candidate
* Stephen Blair - The Conservative party Candidate
* Sandra Bowyer - Liberal Democrats

* Mary Maxfield - Liberal Democrats
* Roger Ruddle - UK Independence Party
* John Taylor - The Labour Party Candidate (Current Post Holder)
