A MUSICAL FAMILY
We are a musical family So getting gifts should easy be But when I look for what they ask Goodness me! No easy task But I will do my very best to get them all that they request our Bett will want a clarinet For our Winn a violin Mum she is a a nice Alto But of all things she wants a piccolo Arthur wants a new guitar Wonder how much they are And for sister Emily Dad says it's called a DVD Glasses for Gran she loves to see Old time dancing on TV Hayley wants new carols to play On the piano on Christmas day Julie wants a set of drums Don't know why ,she is still young and sucks her thumbs Grandad will teach her for he plays in the band on his ukulele Oh there will be such a noise From the girls and from the boys I hope our neighbours go away overseas on Christmas day But if recession still goes on We shall be back to days long gone Dad says we must never get in debt I think there will be some money left For when the icy icy winds did blow and the lanes were blocked with snow Men were pleased with a pair of socks For ladies a warm scarf I a pretty box People would save and always always gave what money they could afford The offering of a gift to our dear Lord It's now called Christmas day It is also our Lord' birthday So to Whitehill Church make your way For in this Church we always see God will take care of you and me
