OUR ANCESTORS
Folk today want to know
who were their ancestors years ago
Some cannot trace them
to find out who they really are

with veggies, fruits, flowers as full as can be
and roses ,chrysanthemums and hollyhocks tall,
neat little borders with verbena small.
Carrots, potatoes, beans, peas, and beet,
but only the best ware good enough to eat.

All born on earth will now have to die.
The second is a garden, yes man is to blame,
It fills us with sorrow and such bitter shame
