WHY DO WE DIE THE THREE GARDENS

In the beginning God had a plan,

In the garden of Eden he put the first man,

Adam did wrong-tempted by Eve,

From this garden they both had to leave,

God said to both because of your lie,

All born on earth will now have to die.

The second is a garden, yes man is to blame,

It fills us with sorrow and such bitter shame ,

Jesus came from Heaven and from sin to set us free,

But died on the old rugged cross in Gethsemane.

Death is a mystery- it will always remain,

Until the dear Lord returns once again,

The third is our heavenly home it has a rare tree,

Called tree of life, only God has the key,

We shall die, we shall all change and immortal we will be,

When God gives the call 'O come unto me'

As we meet in this house of prayer,

We entrust our dear friend to God's loving care,

His/Her mortal life has come to it's close,

Our thoughts go back to all of those,

Who have been privileged to recall,

The friendship to us, one and all,

From childhood's years to to journey's end,

Now the Lord her Shepherd is his/her faithful friend,
